We went to the Portland Pirates game on Friday night. The night that would determine if they would be in the play-offs or not. We all had a fabulous time. The game was excellent, kept you on the edge of your seat. At one point the Pirates were behind, Robbie and Tiz went to look at Pirate jerseys for sale, he ended up getting her one (gulp, again thank you Ben). From that point on the game got even more exciting and the Pirates won! Tiz insists that it was because she got a shirt and it brought good luck!!! I got a video of the end of the game and Tiz's reaction to the winning, but unsure if I could post it or not. Below are pictures of the game though:
Yes, of course he's on his phone
Tiz's new Pirates shirt
Cheering at a goal, can you see the excitement in her eyes?
No this isn't a cheer, I do believe its a jeer
After the game, tired but happy
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and a great weekend. The sun is out shining bright, not as warm as it was Friday, but I'm not complaining. The mud is drying and the days are much longer.

ZONKED OUT!!
Today is Easter, and Robyn proves that you're never too old to hunt for eggs!

HOPPY Easter!! Love the photos of the game, now that you all have become addicted to the Pirates you will have to go to a play-off game! I love Tiz's expressions, the cheer and the jeer! And why else would the Pirates win, if not for Tiz's new jersey? Ben is a keeper for sure! The photo of the Easter egg-hunters was neat. Must make Mom feel better knowing her teenager is not too young to hunt for eggs :)
Aw, she looks so excited in her new jersey! I went on an Easter Egg hunt today, too. I don't think you are ever too old to hunt for eggs!!
Wow, what a great game! Gotta love hockey! :D
Happy Easter!
You, Robbie, and the girls are a family that sure has fun together, Marg. What great memories you're creating for Robyn and Elizabeth. (I attended a hockey game once. It was the longest evening of my life! But don't tell the Pirates fans I said that, please.)
