Why Blog??
I've been reading blogs for a while now and must admit that I've enjoyed many chuckles with some of them! My cousin writes a fabulous one that is filled with so much humor, that I know I'll never be able to compete. I just don't want to be a blogger that people read, for a good laugh on my account!!
Let me tell you a little about myself and family. I've been married for almost (gulp) 17yrs come September, and see at least 50 more years ahead of us! We have 2 beautiful girls that, along with me, are Geminis.......hence the heading 3geminigirls. Robyn is 14yrs old, I won't give out stats on her, but she does wear a 8.5 shoe!! She just started her first job today and will be a Freshman in high school (obviously) in the fall. She volunteers at several places and is a member of the Core of Leaders and will be going to Minneapolis in November. She is also in charge of arranging the childrens games and prizes for the local 4th of July festivities in our town. She's going to follow in our footsteps and join the local ambulance service as an emt as soon as she's old enough.
Elizabeth, what is there to say about Tiz? She is 8 and heading into the 3rd grade. She's very sweet and loveable as well as active and rambunctious. She's a very deep thinker..... ie why should she go to bed, when its her brain that tells her she's tired and to go to sleep......that one is actually mild for her. She wears a 1.5 to size 2 shoe. She loves socializing, reading and in general playing. We'll skip over her addiction to TV. I'm very lucky as she and sissy get along fabulously and never had a problem with jealousy. Though I do have to remind Robyn that we are Tiz's parents!
My husband is project manager for a local boatbuilder. He has worked his way up for the past 14yrs. His "first" boat that he's been completely in charge of launches in August. He's the chief of the local ambulance service and is also an emt. Now that he's a "boss" he works long hours pretty much 7 days a week, hence why we've been married for 17yrs and I see a long future ahead of us!
Me, well... let's see. I've recently become a stay at home mom after the office I worked in closed after 7yrs. I was in the insurance business for 23yrs. I have an insurance license and also an emt license. My days are busier than ever and I have no clue how I did it all and worked. I love to read and to go camping in our 5th wheel camper. If you can call that camping!
We have 2 animals, a lab mix named Socks and a blue point siamese cat named Boots.
Well, I guess that's enough to bore you for now - I'll see if I can keep this blog thing going and try not to bore you all to death!!
