Why you keep your nose out of other peoples business

Poor Socks Amelia, aka Socksie, stuck her nose where it didn't belong last night.  We debated whether to call the vet at 10:00 at night or try and remove the quills ourselves.  We opted for the latter and if it didn't work then would call the vet.  It took 3 of us over a half hour to get over 30 quills out of her nose.  Thankfully she didn't get any inside her mouth.  She is such a laid back baby girl, but didn't understand that we were helping her.  Finally putting a towel over her head helped some.  But it was a tough struggle to hold her down!  HOWEVER, she's fine and promptly went to bed, our bed, afterwards with a big sigh!  Today, she's following me everywhere and won't leave my side.

Another few days of heavy rain, AGAIN!  Up to 3-6" of rain.  Never in the 18yrs since we built the house have we been able to see the creek that is behind the house!
