My addiction

This is my most recent purchase....and yes, its an addiction of mine. Some buy purses or shoes - me its Lock & Lock and it is the greatest invention yet!! I have numerous sets of them, and they work fabulous! My recent purchase was due to our dog loving bread, and getting it off the counter no matter how far back you put it. I begin to think the cat assists! Anyways, this set included the bread box, egg holder and bacon/luncheon meat container. Once again, I'm not disappointed!! Take a look!! QVC

A day with just Auntie

Today Tiz had a special treat, she got to spend the afternoon with Auntie!! They went to the Botantical Gardens and saw the Fairy Houses. Tiz wanted me to post the following pictures that SHE took with HER new camera Auntie gave her! She had a great lunch with her favorite foods, mac & cheese with hot dog. What a good boy you've raised Auntie!!!!

I have to proudly boast about my nephew Courtney. My sister did a wonderful job raising him and she should be very proud. Why?? Because my nephew gave my mum (his grandmother) a rose yesterday telling her that she's always been a "great" grandmother. Why this little gift, because my niece gave birth on Wednesday, and to this date - Saturday - she still hasn't received a call from anyone telling her the baby was born. So Courtney, being the kind, caring soul that he is, felt bad that she's being dissed and wanted to show her how much she means to him. Cheryl, you've done a great job raising him!!!!!! A fine young man indeed!

Purses Gallore!

The girls and I went to a purse party that a friend of mine was having. Now, keep in mind, I'm not a purse person at all and don't completely understand the frenzy people get into over one! Ahem, however - I feel in love with several of them and ended up walking away with one for me and a wallet and purse for Robyn. All for under $100!!! Hopefully it will last a real long, long, long, long time! I think my last purchase was 4yrs ago!

Orientation

I started my new job yesterday! Its exciting and I think I'll really enjoy it. Course it was only 1 day of work and it was slow, so I could change my mind. LOL!!! Today was orientation day, all day.....8 long hours of people talking......on and on and on....field trips.....sitting in a stuffy room with out water........I'm proud that I didn't doze off!! But I noticed while sitting with 4 other women, you can tell a lot by the facial expression, the way they hold themselves and how friendly they are, amongst other things. Its kind of funny. Anyways, tomorrow I go to work from 11:30 - 5 (hair app't is top priority before work ;) ), ambulance duty on Thursday and Friday I work at an insurance agency. Whew!!! Next week I hopefully will be there Monday, Wednesday & Friday (dr's app't Tuesday and on call Thursday) and then start on my own the following week ........ EEEKK!!!!

We're baaacckkk!!!

We had an absolutely GORGEOUS weekend camping! The weather couldn't of been better sunshine during the day and cool nights, perfect for campfires and s'mores!! We even went apple picking - unfortunetly had to come home a day early, even though its a long weekend, as both Robbie and I (start my NEW job!!) have to work tomorrow.
