Just rec'd a text message from Robyn that we have power!!! YIPEEE!!!
Now, its really pathedic to think that we only went 1 day without power and barely survived - we really need to do something about that. We really don't watch a lot of TV or have any video games, so why was it such a problem? Must of been not having a bathroom!!! LOL

Amazing that you all survived-haha. I smoked the all-white walls up when I attempted to build a fire in the fireplace to keep warm. But hey, it was an adventure! It could be alot worse, like days and days. We just got back the internet and cable. I actually enjoyed the quiet. I knitted alot.
We got our power back early this morning (Sunday). It was out just 48 hours, but that was long enough for me. A neighbor loaned us his generator for a few hours yesterday afternoon, and that meant we could run the fridge, freezer, and furnace for awhile. I kept reminding myself, when I was tempted to fuss, that many people in the world would love to have a warm home without electricity, because it's so much better than what they live in now.
