Topsham Fair

Yesterday we spent the day at the Topsham Fair. We went with the intention of just doing the tractor pulls. Well, we ended up getting the girls unlimited ride bracelets for $16 a piece. They went on over 15 rides - which if we bought tickets would of been over $120. They had a great time, lots of laughs to say the least! Back to the tractor pulls......usually they do the lawn tractor pulls first, notice I said usually? This time it was last, dead last, 4hrs later last, a fidgety 8yr old 4hrs last, not to mention a 40ish yr old mom!!! Watch the video of one of Robyn's pulls right to the last second, its priceless - do you see what happens? I wish I didn't shut my camera off when I did, it was hilarious!!!

Did you see what she does??

Here's some pictures of the rest of our day - we really had a blast! Tiz was in heaven with the rides, Robyn - well she's a good sport, even though she was green on the rides, she readily goes with Tiz! She's a great big Sissy!!

A ride of a lifetime!

Yes, that's Tiz in a police cruiser....and thankfully she's in the front seat!! She had the night and ride of a lifetime on Friday. Our friend Scott, who's a reserve officer for Damariscotta, was on "speeding duty" for the department on Friday. He came over to the campground for burgers.....and then asked Elizabeth if she wanted to ride around with him for a while. If you know her, she's got big brown eyes that sparkle to begin with, and if you can imagine that they got even bigger and practically glowed! She was beside herself! So off they went, I figured a ride through the campground and maybe the end of the road. But no - he took her actually out! They stopped a few cars, one lady got a ticket, and didn't come back for over an hour. Needless to say she was wound up tighter than I dunno what! She kept saying that was the best night of her life and that Scott was sweet to take her. She's in still so excited and all she talks about. So, if you see her, go ahead and ask her what she thought........you won't be disappointed in her reaction!!! Now, lets make sure she stays in the front seat of a cruiser, not the back! ;)

Tractor Pulls

I feel bad that I've neglected to praise about Robyn's latest trophy! But with doing 36-48hrs on the ambulance service the past 2 weeks, I'm not sure I know which end is up!

So, anyways.......I've included some pictures of her "pulling" in the antique tractor pull here on 7/5/08 at the Railway Village. She and Robbie are set up to do some more pulls later in the summer. She has 2nd and 3rd place ribbons, this is her first....1st!!! :) She was funny and I wish I took a picture, but I was in complete awe, her front tires went off the ground and she didn't panic and stall it!!! Scared her 1/2 to death though!!
